Alexander Galewicz is Managing Partner at 1754 Properties and heads the Mexico City office.  Mr. Galewicz has over 14 years experience in private equity and real estate development, lending and investment, with extensive knowledge of Latin American markets. He is co-responsible for sourcing, executing and managing the group’s investments.

Prior to joining 1754 Properties, Mr. Galewicz founded OCG Capital, in Bogota, Colombia, where he invested in a variety of businesses, including hotel development in emerging markets. Before OCG Capital, he worked for Prudential Real Estate Investors (now PGIM) as portfolio manager in an investment fund with over $2 billion under management. Prior to his time at Prudential, he worked in investment banking for Evercore Partners in Mexico City.

Mr. Galewicz holds an MBA degree from Columbia University with a focus on real estate development and investing and a BA degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
